Field Service Technician

This is a Field Service Tech position for a company that has been consistently bringing in $40-$50 million in revenue.? A very family oriented company that values company culture and is looking to add to their staff someone with similar qualities.? The company focuses on packaging automation equipment, and runs on engineering services and product development.

Additional Information:

  • Must have strong electrical troubleshooting background.? This includes troubleshooting PLCs, electrical schematics, drives/VFDs, single phase and 3 phase motors and fairly high voltage equipment -- 480v.

  • Must be comfortable with travel.? Typically travel Monday and then come back Friday, so they have the weekends at home.??90% travel, primarily NA -- US, Canada and Mexico.? Target 0-5 years of experience.

  • Presentation and communication skills are huge.? Candidates will be in front of customers on a regular basis.? They need to be able to deal with high pressure situations and be fairly even keeled.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
